Lately we have started walking in earnest with our poles again. We had been a bit slack due to the waether and ...  all the other excuses:-)!

However it is such a nice way of moving forward, swiftly with speed and the sensation, that really all muscles in the body are engaged.

Especially the arm muscles suddenly give me feed back that they have been a bit underused for a while.
  • The breathing increases, the heartbeat rises, but not uncomfortably.
Because of the wonderful even synchronized Cross Crawl pattern, which the body automatically and easily assumes during this activity one feels empowered to walk longer, faster and further with less perceived effort.
